“Unless we are creators we are not fully alive. What do I mean by creators? Not only artists, whose acts of creation are the obvious ones of working with paint of clay or words. Creativity is a way of living life, no matter our vocation or how we earn our living. Creativity is not limited to the arts, or having some kind of important career.”
— Madeleine L’Engle (Walking on Water)
I have always had (what I believe is a God-given) passion to create: whether it be with words, with pen-and-ink, in wood, or with paint. I have found creativity (in many forms) to be a way I express myself with and connect to God. I have also found it way to encourage and bless others. Art, in its broadest definition, has been a way through which I have discovered more and more of my God-formed humanity.
