Welcome to Geography 1013. This is a great opportunity to learn together about God’s creation.
Welcome to Geography 1013. This week, please,
- Read Chapter 16 (text) and online notes 16
- Make an awesome comment in the online discussion on Moodle by Saturday midnight. This can be really interesting, AND they are easy marks. Please do NOT use AI, like ChatGPT. I want to get to know you and hear your ideas. Not a computer’s. If it’s not a personal response, you will receive “0.” Computers are boring. You’re not!
- Lab 4 will be due Tuesday, November 4. Print it off. Complete it. Scan/photo it and submit it in ONE single PDF file on Moodle by midnight on the due date.
- If you would rather do a Final Project than the Final Exam, please send me a brief proposal by November 4. See the syllabus for details. Here are some examples from previous years. I do appreciate that for some of you, exams are not your preferred approach for evaluation. Some of you are incredibly creative, innovative, and just love to do something – anything – other than exams. I get that. Therefore, you have a choice to either write the final exam or do a project. And, if you want to get it done early, get started.
I post a weekly announcement on Moodle with reminders and updates. Please check your Crandall email. Make sure you are set up to receive Moodle announcements. This week’s announcement is here
Questions? Please email me: Bruce.Martin@crandallu.ca. I should respond within 24 hours on weekdays. Weekends I take off.
